American Tube Technology, Inc., in conjunction with Namaste Solar, will hold an official opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony for American Tube Technology’s 100 percent solar powered production facility in Denver on May 1 at 11 a.m.World Steel Tube Editing
American Tube Technology’s Denver facility, located at 185 W Mexico Ave. in the Southwest Denver area, is the world’s first small diameter tubing production facility to be entirely powered by solar energy.
To complete the project, American Tube Technology partnered with Namaste Solar, a solar panel design and installation company based in Colorado. American Tube Technology’s new solar panel array is expected to power its Denver facility for the next 20 years.
In addition to being environmentally friendly, the solar panels will help American Tube Technology save on its operating costs, savings that it plans to pass on to its customers. The panels will also guard American Tube against delays in production resulting from blackouts or reductions in power supply that could be faced by other tube manufacturers.World Steel Tube Editing
Representatives from American Tube Technology and Namaste Solar will be on hand at the event to answer questions about the solar panels. If interested in attending, please contact Jeremy Askew at American Tube Technology for more information.
