Standing four stories tall, RiverRushs smooth, jolt-free tube track takes riders past the trees as it navigates three additional drops powered by hydro magnetic drive motors.
What follows is a thrilling combination of multiple hairpin turns and dark tunnels, all accompanied by rushing water.
The track covers more than an acre in a newly developed area near the parks Big Bear Plunge white water rafting inspired slide. Spanning 1,175 feet, its just one foot less than New York's tallest building, One World Trade Center.
At Dollywood, the annual Barbecue & Bluegrass festival returns May 25-June 9 before the parks Great American Summer June 22-Aug. 4.
